30 Mar Do not refuse to help an orphan
Perhaps no other word evokes more emotion than “mother.” Mothers shape our destiny and forge who we will become, regardless of our backgrounds or beginnings. “Mother” is the first word that comes to mind for most of us. For better or worse, we are inextricably linked to our mothers, even if that connection is only a distant memory. We are extremely fortunate to have our mother in our lives, who loves us unconditionally. But, what about an orphan child? What was his fault? Why can’t he get what others have got?
The Manas Sewa Sankalp Parivar Foundation is committed to assisting orphans so that their development is not hampered by a difficult upbringing. Our orphan sponsorship programme is the first of our orphan appeals, and it is designed to protect vulnerable children from exploitation, abuse, and neglect. We want to provide them with a safe place to live, emotional support, and a good education so that they can build a better life for themselves. Orphans, like all children, are particularly vulnerable because they lack a family or a stable home to protect them from the dangers of the outside world.
Shelter, food, healthcare, education, protection, and emotional support are all basic human rights, but many children without parents do not have access to them. No child should have to face this dreadful fate, which is why we are asking you to sponsor an orphan so that we can provide them with the life skills they need to succeed. When you are kind to someone in trouble, you hope they’ll remember and be kind to someone else. And it’ll become like a wildfire.
